The Affect of the Rwandan Genocide

The effect of the Rwandan Genocide

The after effects of the genocide led to thousands upon thousands of orphans & vulnerable children being on the streets (homeless) and/or abused. A high percentage of these children also lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and are living in child-headed families. It is estimated that there are about 150,000 people living with AIDS in Rwanda, with 19,000 of those being children under the age of 14. Gender based violence has also taken its toll too affected many children throughout the country.

This is all in accomplished in an eco-friendly environment.
